What Is KOPHAYAT?

  • Kophayat is KoperasiBank’s Group Insurance Scheme which is underwritten by Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhard ( formely under Malaysian Assurance Alliance Berhad (MAA)).
  • Kophayat is open to all employees within the Financial Sector.
  • Non members may subscribe to the scheme.
  • Kophayat is also extended to spouse and children age 4 to 18, 23 if the child is still studying.
  • Kophayat provides a maximum coverage up to age 65.
  • You may terminate the policy whenever you chose to. All you need to do is surrender the policy and you would be paid the Accumulated Cash Benefit by Zurich.
  • You can continue with policy even if you have resigned from your present job or retired. Just continue paying the monthly premium to KoperasiBank.
  • If retrenched you may enjoy continuity of cover for 3 months provided the policy has been in force for 3 years.

What Does The Scheme Provide?

  • Financial protection in the event of Death or Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) due to natural causes.
  • DOUBLE compensation in the event of Death or Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) due to accidental causes.
  • If diagnosed with any of the 36 Critical Illness. FULL payment of Insured Amount + Accumulated Cash Benefit (ACB).
  • Daily Hospitalization Allowance = Monthly Premium (RM) x Number of days in hospital due to illness or accident.
  • In the event of death, Funeral Expenses = Monthly Premium (RM) x 100.
